High School: (9th - 12th grades)

The Edge

High School students gather together on Sunday afternoons for The Edge - a place where they learn to:

Experience and Discover God Everywhere

There is amazing worship from our youth praise band, Higher Ground, followed by exciting large group games and fellowship. Students then break into their grade level small groups to help them see God for who He is and for themselves so that they can help love others the way God does.

Meet the youth Director

Hi, Friend! My name is Rachel Devereaux, and I have the absolute honor of serving Cross Winds UMC as their Director of Youth Ministries. I have been working with young people for almost 15 years. I am married to Jeff and we have 2 beautiful daughters, Madison (8) and Ashley (6). We also have a very silly miniature Schnauzer named Winston who is 9!

It is my hope that every youth who is a part of our ministry at Cross Winds will feel the love of the Lord, and fully know that they are beloved sons and daughters of Christ who are made in the image of God!

I look forward to being the hands and feet with you on your student’s journey! Hearts and warm hugs!
